Something new for the blog. A number of people have indicated recently that they're not on Facebook (and don't want to be), but would like to get the latest version of Startline. So, as updated versions occur, I'll put links on the blog so that files can be accessed via Google Drive. I'll make them PDFs, and with luck that will avoid any formatting issues.
KEITH'S WARGAMING BLOG. This blog has been created to share my exploits in the hobby of wargaming. I game in the WW2, Seven Years War, Napoleonic and Ancient periods. The blog also contains a few details of my book 'Airborne Armour'. Please don't quit the site without leaving a comment, even if not related to a specific post. Most wargamers have something interesting to say about the hobby!

Thanks for taking the time to do FB alternatives.
You're welcome. Better late than never.
That's most encouraging for those of us who don't use FB
Stephen
In the glorious tradition of WW2 wargames pedantry I feel compelled to point out that Start Line is (or was - it's now Line of Departure) always two words.
Thanks Owen. On the other hand... https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/startline
But maybe Start Line would look better on the page. Oh Lord, now I have to make a choice...
Thanks for doing this.
Thanks for sharing here as well, Keith. I can only use Facebook on my phone, which is useless for downloading fileslike this, so there are a few projects that I miss out on. Maybe I just need to practise more with the technology, but thanks again.
It's good to see this is hitting the spot for some people. I should have done it sooner. Updates will continue as the rules develop.
Sorry I am late Keith but like the others I appreciate your doing this. I often think I should get on to Facebook for wargaming things but suspect that it would mean more time reading about wargaming rather than doing. Looking forward to reading the new rules though.
Nice to hear from you Jim. All comment sappreciated.
